now wantin a love not so foul.
bringin up the past before my mind.
acceptin how i got here in time.
feelin yesterday is dead & gone.
for today tells me i'm only a pawn.
survivin by ways that make me, me.
plantin roots & growin new seeds.
pain & what's left to gain takin place.
over the b.s. & winnin the race.
standin tall above thy shadow.
yet still in the mix of the everlastin battle.
